The Craft of Teaching | The Continuum of Practice

Sanctuary’s newest offering for yoga teachers.  After years of focusing on Teacher Trainings and long-format programs, we are sharpening our focus for continuing education to be more specific and relevant for today’s teachers. We’re excited to share Craft and Continuum: continued education for experienced teachers seeking more depth, greater perspective, and a more expansive approach to practice and teaching.

The Focused Approach

As we move away from long-format trainings, we invite you to explore expanding your knowledge with focused sessions that don't require changing your schedule for months on end. C&C immersions are strategically placed throughout the year so you can grow and evolve your teaching in a way that makes sense.

Great for Busy Teachers

Do you have a full schedule of classes and private clients? Or perhaps you have a full-time job outside of teaching yoga? Craft & Continuum makes it possible to continue your education in the midst of your busy life.

Rediscover the Joy of Teaching

Find new inspiration in your practice that translates directly into your classes. Our workshops are designed to give you a fresh perspective and help you reconnect with your flow. Reignite your inspiration with us and lead classes that resonate.

YA CEUs

Already Yoga Alliance certified? Certified teachers can receive CEUs for participation in immersions taught by Daphne Larkin and other guest E-RYTs.

Yoga is a lifelong practice of refinement.

As our understanding deepens, we discover that growth comes not from continually adding more, but from seeing more clearly. Returning to familiar practices with greater awareness reveals new layers of strength, ease, wisdom, and connection.

Craft & Continuum is Sanctuary's Continuing Education Series

Whether you are a teacher seeking continuing education or a dedicated practitioner looking to deepen your experience, these workshops offer meaningful opportunities to expand your knowledge, sharpen your skills, and reconnect with the heart of the practice.

Led by Sanctuary Faculty and Guest Teachers

Each workshop reflects the unique expertise and perspective of its instructor while sharing a common commitment to intelligent, inquiry-based practice. Rather than offering one methodology, the series invites curiosity, critical thinking, and the continual refinement that defines an enduring yoga practice.

Attend the sessions that inspire you.

Experience the series as an ongoing journey of learning, practice, and transformation. Every workshop is open to movement teachers and may be taken individually in a way that fits into your life.

Teaching with Intention:

An Inspired Perspective for Teachers

intention3.png

How do you keep your love for teaching alive and your classes consistently inspired? The answer begins with a clear intention and asking one essential question: What do I actually want to teach?

While class sequences can be structured in countless ways, the most impactful offerings are guided by clear purpose rather than simply moving from posture to posture. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to design classes with meaning, direction, and heart—regardless of your preferred sequencing style.

Instead of starting with "What poses should I teach?", we’ll pivot to a more powerful question: "What do I want my students to learn, experience, or discover?" Once you have that anchor, your sequencing, cueing, and themes naturally fall into place.

By identifying a clear teaching objective, you'll unlock fresh creativity, deepen student engagement, and bring renewed energy to your teaching. Join us to learn how to craft experiences that inspire your students, support their growth, and leave a lasting impact.

Ideal for: Yoga teachers looking to refine their craft, reconnect with their purpose, and feel inspired in their teaching.
