CLASS STYLES
RESTORATIVE & YIN
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga is a rich practice of deep and meditative support, both physically and emotionally. The practitioner is held by bolsters, pillows, and blankets for sustained periods of time in deeply rejuvenative postures. By supporting the body with props, the practice stimulates and relaxes the body moving toward a balanced state. Perfect for all levels.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga uses long, passive holds to work on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body - the tendons, ligaments and cartilage - which are difficult to energize and open. This deep, passive practice settles you into poses for 3 -10 minutes, bringing you inward.
FLOW & YIN
With an emphasis on balancing effort and ease, Flow and Yin integrates the rejuvenating qualities of gentle vinyasa with the grounding nature of yin yoga. In this all-levels class you can expect thoughtfully crafted sequences to harmonize the body, heart and mind. This blended class will take you through a warming vinyasa practice to start, followed by a series of yin postures designed to nourish the deep connective tissues of your body. With mindful attention to areas of tension like shoulders, hips and low back, this practice becomes a journey of healing and self-discovery. All are welcome!
FLOW & RESTORE
With an emphasis on balancing strength and softness, this blended class will take you through a vinyasa practice sequenced to awaken inner strength, then guide you into a series of restorative postures designed to facilitate deep relaxation and opening in the body and mind. Walk away feeling rested and replenished. Perfect for beginners or anyone returning to a yoga practice. All Levels.
EXPLORE & RESTORE
Accessible and exploratory in nature, this all-levels class is for students seeking a gentle yet dynamic "slow flow" supported by the integration of mantra chanting, breathwork, and restorative postures for long moments of intentional stillness. With a framework established in the foundations of Ayurvedic yoga therapeutics and Tantric energetics, this class will equally expand and ground your awareness through breath, movement and sound. You'll depart class feeling relaxed, refreshed and embodied in your whole self--body, mind and spirit.
