- Sanctuary for Yoga

Several moons ago, Jessalynn stumbled into a yoga class in Colorado and fell down dog… heels over head in love with yoga. She has been practicing yoga for almost eight years and learning from her students for the past three years. Jessalynn brews a class inspired by the ebb and flow of a juicy vinyasa practice that cultivates body awareness through a sturdy bond between the breath and movement. Jessalynn aspires for her students to seek the sweet and spice of their yoga practice with a dash of laughter and a pinch of sweat!
For approximately two years, the Yoga Center of Minneapolis provided Jessalynn with a foundational education and the opportunity to study various disciplines such as vinyasa, ashtanga, restorative, prenatal and postnatal, as well as general hatha. Jessalynn is indebted to her teachers in Minneapolis and all her students along the way. Jessalynn is also inspired by blessed experiences with many senior teachers such as Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, Sean Corn, Tias Little, Rod Stryker, Larry Shultz, and Doug Swenson.
Jessalynn comes from a background in dance and wellness as a licensed massage therapist. Sincerely interested and dedicated to the holistic connection and to integrative health, Jessalynn is currently studying recreational therapy to complement her progressive passion for yoga. Jessalynn's massage therapy skills and techniques include Swedish, Trigger Point therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. She also has completed both Level one and Level two of the Thai Yoga Bodywork Basics Program through Tanya Boigenzahn in Minneapolis, and continues to study this modality.
Jessalynn is particularly thankful for the connection she made with Tom and Daphne Larkin several moons ago in India while studying with Shiva Rea. She is incredibly grateful to Tom and Daphne for inviting her into such a lovely space and brilliant yoga family, who have graciously offered open hearts and minds to her presence.
Jessalynn resides in Nashville with her outstanding boyfriend and two loving dogs, Tela and Gypsy.
